Christ and Chrisna(Krishna), a Folktale or Reality

Are Christ and Chrishna(Krishna) a folktale or reality. It is very hard to think in this way for a common believer, still there are lot of similarities between these two divine personalities. Sometimes after reading Lives of Christ and Chrishna(Krishna)I end up asking a question to myself. May be the story of Christ is the influence of the Aryan culture in Middle East, Europe and so on.

Folktale studies show the influence of Aryan culture in the whole Europe and so on starting from India. Of course there some scholars argue this hypothesis. When I studied about the life of Chrishna(Krishna),I found a lot of similarities between him and Christ from birth to death. May be it happened truly being coincided to each other. But I think there is a lot of room to study this coincide effect.

Did you know that there are interesting similarities in the life of Christ and Krishna? Their names sound similar too. Christ and Chrishna(Krishna).Another similarity is the way they conceived. Both are believed to be the sons of God, since they were divinely conceived.
Kamsa, the king of Mathura was warned that a child (already born) would kill him when the child grew up. So Kamsa decided to kill young babies. Herod, the king of Palestine was also warned of being killed at the hand of a child born recently…Herod also decided to slaughter the newborn babies. Christ is often depicted as a shepherd and Chrishna was a cowherd. Prophets miraculously foretold the advent of each savior and you can find a great similarity between their mother’s names Maya and Mary and both are believed to born in the month of December.

Let us Imagine this way, there was a folktale about Chrishna(Krishna)in India at ancient time and some Aryan people carried this folktale and spread this folktale in to new cultural boundaries. The big question is that, why we find a lot of difference in these two stories? Absolutely right, that is the quality of some good storytellers. Most good storytellers had the quality to adapt in to new cultural boundaries and they always like to add new social elements in to their stories. May be Aryans having some conflicts with Jews people so they put a new element in the story of Christ, making the Jews people the main reason for the Christ’s crucifixion. I am not fully sure about this hypothesis but there is a big chance for this to really happen.
This is not an article looking for popularity; let us have a healthy debate on this subject.

Today I watched news about the existence of Jesus Christ in CNN and its showed that there is a pending case in the European court about this matter. Recentaly one of my friend mailed me a comment" If people believe the Christ as a historical person then they have to believe in Chrishna(Krishna)as a historical person too"

jesus ... the person who the bible refers to was a human being ...

'christ' is a consciousness and no doubt a consciousness that kirshna had attained or something very similar, anyway.

jesus was more likely born in september, and the december celebration was created by the christian church well after the bible was constructed by emperor constantine.

great discussion ...
